The RepubliQ burned Maui down

A major contributor to the Maui wildfires was an outdated electrical infrastructure that failed at critical junctions (so, no water pumps, etc.) as well as sparked new fires when it failed. There's $85 million in Biden infrastructure money that's in the pipeline but didn't get to Maui in time. Why didn't it? Because of RepubliQ yeeping and screaming over elements of the bill and the bill in general.

I'm sure they've shed no tears. After all, Hawaii, votes reliably Democrat. But this illustrates the result of RepubliQ governance. Things burn. Things collapse. Things die.

But nothing's ever woke woke woke woke woke!

More kevin lies.

Hawaii was more concerned with windmills than maintaining its electric grid

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12417253/Hawaii-Electric-focused-obsessively-renewable-energy-spending-245-000-wildfire-safety.html

Hawaiian Electric, which provides power to 95 percent of locals, concluded during the 2019 wildfires that it needed to do more to prevent its power lines from emitting sparks.

But four years later, very little had followed and only $245,000, between 2019 and 2022, had been invested on wildfire-specific projects on the island, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing regulatory filings.

In 2015, lawmakers passed legislation mandating that the state derive 100 percent of its electricity from renewable sources by 2045

Your "sources" (a UK newspaper from four years ago. LOL) don't mention the infrastructure money. Guess they're as ignorant as you.

Stupid Tommie-poo.

Once again stupid kevin shows he can't read, which is why they wouldn't let him out of 3rd grade.

The article was from 2 weeks ago not 4 years ago & stated that Hawaiian Electric only spent $250k from 2019 thru 2023.

Instead of updating their lines they chose to chase windmills instead.

It's interesting most of the employees I supervise are diehard MAGAs.  Two of them told me unprompted that the fires were caused by space lasers because liberals want to build a smart city there. The sad thing is they were dead serious.

I hope you don't task them with anything more difficult than emptying the trash.

They went for sustainable energy because that is ultimately the way to avoid transmission line failure. Biden's bill allocated money for that.

Stupid Tommie-poo.

And how did that work out?   Billions in damages, a town destroyed, economy destroyed & over 100 dead?

Callous kevin doesn't care about how much suffering the green plan caused as long as he gets his windmills.

It didn't work out because it didn't get started yet, thanks to RepubliQ delay and interference. Your gang.

You are truly stupid. Republicans have nothing to do with this disaster. The problem

was that the democratic government put the emphasis on windmills, instead of spending

their money on preventive maintenance

Callius Kevin prefers windmills over lives
