I am not surprised at the above asinine post by Lying Lewis. He remains despicable and classless.

And you spend your whole life pretending to be relevant.

I can see it now, after your demise there will be an endless line of people at the cemetery waiting to take a dump and piss on your grave.

Overall, I had never been a big fan of this man or his methods as a so called conservative politician. He somewhat floated on current political winds with his mike ops and stances. I did, however, greatly appreciate his impactful defense of Brett Kavanaugh when he was being railroaded by some Democrats during his SCOTUS nomination process. Long-time liberal SCOTUS member Ruth Bader Ginsburg had enough class and respect for the truth to join Graham in Kavanaugh's defense. Prior to that incident, he voted for liberal SCOTUS members Sotomeyer and Kagan during their nomination / approval processes. I also appreciated his occasional demonstrated willingness to 'reach across the aisle' with legislative policies and practices  to accomplish something in DC; that's rare in recent history.

When someone / anyone  dies there's at least three options one can choose to offer via comment. One can either 1) say a prayer for the deceased and his family ; 2) if prayer isn't in one's wheelhouse , then say something reasonable regarding the deceased and his surviving ilk; 3) if neither option 1 or 2 works for you, there's  a third option : Shut up!

No dignity and no class, Kevin.

There are, and there have always been, people whose death benefits, has benefitted, or would benefit the world. Hitler, Stalin, Trump, Pol Pot, Jeffrey Dahmer, Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein, Jeffrey Epstein, etc. Lindsey Graham was such a person. I say that not because he was such an awful person--though he definitely was--but because he hurt millions of people with his horrid politics and later in life, rabid Trumpism.

Tell, me, O Guardian of Morals and Etiquette. When an evil and massively harmful person dies, how should we react? 1) Say a prayer for Hitler? I doubt that many did. 2) Say something reasonable about the deceased? Well, OK...Hitler liked dogs. Except that one of his last acts on earth was to poison his dog. 3) Shut up? Sorry, when famous people (good or evil) die, a lot of folks comment. It's news.

So, O Guardian, 1) prayer is irrational and pointless, but were I to say a prayer, it would be in thanks for the removal of a grossly evil and massively harmful person; 2) there is nothing reasonable I or anyone else could say about Graham: he was a rabid Trumper and shared in the overwhelming guilt of MAGA and culpability for the pain Trump has caused and will cause 3) you didn't "shut up," so why should I? You apologize for him; that's your right. I don't; that's my right.

Oh, wait, sorry, I shouldn't say anything to a MAGA about dumb shit like free speech. My bad!

The only thing you said that all can agree with is -"I shouldn't say anything"

So you equate Graham and his stances / actions with that of Hitler , Stalin, and mass murderers. It requires a special kind of accommodative misinformation to arrive at that conclusion. Congrats and carry on.
