Unfit, Trump was unfit because of his Jan 6th actions. Easy, peasy.

Fit. By any objective, nonpartisan measure. Trump was unfit in 2016 and now--once again, not from any partisan perspective.
Here's why. Character and ability. The character of both men is obvious. Trump has not the slightest clue of what the office of President entails and has never bothered to learn. Biden has over three decades of government office experience.
.
Neither is physically fit and both have mental problems due to aging. But that's been true of most of our Presidents, historically, and isn't a disqualifier.
So that was another Joe Biden unfit
There exists longevity stats, such as average lenght of life for males, females. There are minimum ages for things...driving, drinking...workplace. I'm pretty sure there is a minimum age to run for POTUS. Perhaps there should be a maximum age for being a sitting POTUS. My uneducated guess is that 85 is a great ripe old age for many things, but not for the rigorous responsibilities of that office. JMHO.

Unfit and very ill.
Pretty telling when you have Zeke Emanuel out there saying he has had this cancer for years and most definitely during the presidency. He is an oncologist and not exactly the most conservative person in the world.

Zeke-buddy has not and had not any access to Biden's blood work or medical exam reports. So he's speculating. Period.
I know you're applying the MAGA TROOTY TROOT metric--if it sounds good to you, it's gospel truth and the person saying it is a troo-bloo EGGSPERT; if you don't like what you hear, the person saying it is just another lyin' liberal. as Boilerboob would say (leaving out his chronic misspellings).
The reality is that even if Biden did have prostate cancer during his term, there would have been relatively few symptoms until it metastisized, and it wouldn't have affected his ability to function until that happened. So the MAGA conspiracy theory is horsecrap either way.

It's 35, which is a spring chicken now but when the FF's wrote the Constitution, was well down the road...at a time when average life expectancy was 40 (and that didn't get any longer until the beginning of the 20th century). It's one of the ways that the laws they wrote are obsolete and should be modified, such as lifetime SCOTUS appointments--they never imagined a judge hanging around for forty years.
There's such a thing as "super agers," which is a term for people who retain their abilities and vigor well beyond the chronological point expected. Biden is one (despite all the MAGA bile). Trump is another. Neither of them should be able to even sort of campaign, serve, etc. in what is one of the more rigorous jobs on earth. Trump goofs off and simply ignores many of his duties, but he is definitely a functioning President--as was Biden.
Super agers are found disproportionately in the acting. musical performing, academic, and yes, political fields. The common denominator seems to be mental activity. It's a fascinating subject, and findings give the tantalizing hint that possibly, we can extend our lifespans simply by keeping our brains active.
So to answer your hypothetical question, I don't think chronological age should enter into it. Perhaps a yearly mental acuity test, with possible disqualifications per the 25th Amendment, would be the best approach. For ALL sitting Presidents, spring chickens or old goats.
I sort of agree, Kevin, except you and I know that ship has probably sailed. Has there ever been a president who was forced out of office for physical or mental health frailty? Neither party would allow it, no physician would sign off on it. Poor Biden, his party shoved him along so THEY would stay in office. A good reason to carefully consider the running mate on a ticket, though.
I know a few "super agers" (love that term...thanks), one a female age 95, retired teacher, just had a colon resection for colon cancer, facing follow up treatments (chemo, rads). Years ago few surgeons would operate on anyone over 65. She is so vigorous physically and mentally, nobody can believe it. My dad, kept himself fit and educated before, into, and beyond retirement, was that way at 85, untill a sudden heart attack. But those are another story.
How old is Biden? A mandatory number, say 85, if in office and considering a second term. If a president would turn 85 in the midst of his term, that would be an automatic exclusion from the nomination. It isn't like most would have nothing to do and would be destitute after leaving the White House. For God's sake let them ease on out and have some good and even productive days before they kick the bucket.

Well, the sad fact is, no such exclusion would receive bipartisan support (which it would need), as long as one party's candidate/nominee/incumbent is or will be that old. The Dems wouldn't have supported it as long as Biden was in office, and the Repubs won't support it as long as they continue the fantasy of the Turd getting a third term and/or becoming Emperor For Life.
So like many good ideas, this one will be smothered in party politics. I wonder what precisely would have to be done. Insert a clause into the 25th Amendment? Would that require approval of 2/3 of the states, the way a whole new amendment would?
Since the Third Turd term would also require a modification to the 25th Amendment, I can see competing crusades, one to allow the Turd to serve a third term, and another to bar him because of age. More conflict, more screaming, more lies from Fox Nooze, and more insults and invective from our resident MAGAs. Sigh.
