The Robert Hur Report and Tapes Verify That Biden Was and Is Mentally Impaired

There will be no Trump third term; he's even acknowledged that himself. You must've missed that  news nugget.

He said that? Wow, nothing but DA TROOTY TROOT issues from his noble pie-hole! We can absotively posalutely believe everything he says!

Now, he probably won't be ABLE to run in 2028, due to Constitutional mandates, but both he and Vance-pig have said many times that he'd try to get around that. Vance is, of course, hoping the Turd croaks tomorrow.

Truth is he recognizes that the Constitution prohibits it and he has inadequate time and resources to legislate an applicable amendment.  He just drove your side insane again with yet another inferred possibility. Won't happen.

"Drove your side insane"? With laughter, maybe. We Democrats believe in the validity of the Constitution. Trump thinks he can evade it. I for one hope he tries, so we can watch him fall on his ass yet again. Even the filthiest, most MAGA court won't invalidate the 25th Amendment.

Nonetheless, it's a certainty that he will talk about it again, as a stated goal. Regardless of what he may have said recently, a third term is a persistent fantasy of his, and he isn't going to abandon it.

Yeah, he admitted this on one of the news programs back in early March.   Old news....time to move on.   Even other Republican Congressmen have reiterated that he won't push for a third term, per the Constitution.

Trump thinks he should have unlimited power, regards the Constitution as toilet tissue, and listens only to himself. It's a certainty that some morning, after lapping up his daily pap from Fox Nooze, he'll return to this recurring fantasy of his.

After all, he's trying right now to invalidate birthright citizenship, which is also in the Constitution.

The constitutional language re: birthright citizenship seems pretty straightforward ( eg ya can't disregard it..if born on US soil, you're a citizen that has to listen to all this political crapola from puberty onward). The current SCOTUS case concerning this issue is not directly about the constitutionality of birthright citizenship per se , but rather the scope of judicial authority to block/ issue injunctions against an executive order ( which was issued by Trump re: birthright citizenship). That's the current factual SCOTUS - considered argument.

There shouldn't be the slightest question of whether an executive order can override the Constitution--it can't. SCOTUS is only even considering this stupid argument because they're 2/3 rabid MAGA and have pledged utter fealty to the Turd.

Wait and raise hell after their decision..they might surprise ya.

It's actually not as straightforward as you suggest.  There's a second criteria there "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof".

"Critics claim that anyone born in the United States is automatically a U.S. citizen, even if their parents are here illegally. But that ignores the text and legislative history of the 14th Amendment, which was ratified in 1868 to extend citizenship to freed slaves and their children.

The 14th Amendment doesn’t say that all persons born in the U.S. are citizens. It says that “[a]ll persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof” are citizens. That second, critical, conditional phrase is conveniently ignored or misinterpreted by advocates of “birthright” citizenship.

Critics erroneously believe that anyone present in the United States has “subjected” himself “to the jurisdiction” of the United States, which would extend citizenship to the children of tourists, diplomats, and illegal aliens alike.

But that is not what that qualifying phrase means. Its original meaning refers to the political allegiance of an individual and the jurisdiction that a foreign government has over that individual."

The Supreme Court has never ruled on a case where father and mother were illegally in the US.  For example, could an illegal alien be drafted into the US military?  If not then they aren't fully subject to US jurisdiction, are they?
