It may be making a valid point. But I believe some credibility is lost with a false attribution and fake video. 

The point would be just as, if not more valid, if it was stated and presented honestly. 

A fake video and false attribution adds no value. It just makes it look like someone is trying to falsley convince people that it was said by someone when it wasn't.

They are trying to fool people into believing something because if they think someone they admire said it they are more likely to believe it. 

If an idea or concept is good, one shouldn't have to fool people into believing it. 

I don't know whether or not you thought that the video is real. But I think the people that created it are being dishonest. 

Just for clarification, his advocacy against "don't ask don't tell" was not what you think. Under don't ask don't tell gay people were still technically prohibited.  His goal was to overturn the policy and make it where gay people can serve openly. 

Yes, perhaps, but that policy allowed gays to serve without being interrogated as to their sexual orientation. It was not unlike the military's 1954 "color blind" policy--a person's sexual orientation was not going to be part of his official record. So crusading against it actually made it harder for gays to serve.

At any rate, the guy's a Trumper, and therefore a worthless, evil fool.

Doesn't matter if he's gay--he's against gays serving in the military. The Don't Ask law made that easy. Forcing service members to disclose their sexual identity made it harder.

So with that, and of course his being a Trumper, he's a stupid, evil little bigot.

Truth is Reagan couldn't win a Republican primary today. He would be considered a RINO because he raised taxes and strengthened social security. 

Don't take my word for it.  Look him up, like I did, then decide for yourself.  He is for Trump, which automatically tells you he is worthless.  Clearly you didn't search for facts of his life, education, military, and why he liked the video.  If he/his bio are factual, he is far from worthless, accomplished a lot militarily and educationally and keeps working for a living.   That right there is worth something.  You are the bigot, Kevin.
