San Francisco proposal would allow lawsuits over grocery store closures

A San Francisco supervisor wants to require grocery stores to provide six months of notice before closing a location - The stupidity of morons like this "supervisor" is indicitive of just how completely out of touch those in charge of managing cities in California really are. Apparently stores are expected to have to suffer an additional 6 months of shop lifting and robberies before they are allowed to close. Enforcing the law apparently does not factor in as California refuses to arrest, convict and jail theives. DemocRats have totally screwed up California - and those who live there still continue to re elect these same morons. -- https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/san-francisco-proposal-would-allow-lawsuits-over-grocery-store-closures

Businesses will shut down prior to the effective date .  Others will let the inventory run out & keep it open for a token few hours.

If San Fran wants businesses to stay put the criminals in jail.

If you read the article there are so many exceptions to it that it really is a nothing burger. A store owner could cite unforseen business circumstances and they wouldn't have to provide notice.
