Instead of hurling insults and name calling, why don't you explain how California (the whole state) wanting to be a sanctuary for illegal immigrants, would be punished by having more of them?
Liberals have been arguing how beneficial illegals are, helping to make our cities safer and more economically successful. How in the World can Trump's proposal be considered punishment if it will help decrease crime and improve the economy?

Here's a good map of the percentage of immigrant workforce in each state.... Red State Texas embraces illegal immigrant labor as much as anybody and they want more. So when you say "liberals" are the only ones who want their contributions you are full of shit. And I cant imagine why anyone would take somebody from their job in Texas to place them in the middle of Detroit where they might not find work...unless that somebody was just making policy on ignorant politics based upon punishing liberals. That's rich considering it was Trump's tax cut that caused the higher interest rates. It is basic Freshman economics 101. The government shouldn't try to stimulate the economy when the economy is doing fine because it causes it to superheat or as some people say it gives it a sugar rush. As a result of the un-needed stimulus, inflation begins to creep up so the Fed raises interest rates to put a lid on inflation which can lead to a recession.
As to the larger issue, if Trump is serious about punishing people that give sanctuary to illegals he should start with the Trump golf courses and other Trump properties. Trump didn't merely refuse to report the illegals like the sanctuary cities. He actually provided them false IDs and social security cards so they could work for him. This guy worked for Trump for years and says practically the whole adult population in his Central American town has worked illegally for Trump at some point.
Of course, thinking people know Trump is simply abusing his office to punish his political opponents. Can you imagine if Obama said he was going to send all illegals to red states while they wait for their asylum hearings?
And just to show you how Trump is dumber than a bag of hammers, The 9th circuit rules in favor of asylum seekers 80% of the time in the red states it is under 10%. So by sending people there, it is much more likely they will get to remain in the U.S. legally long term. Once they get a favorable ruling, they can relocate to any part of the country that they want.

Why dont you explain to me how removing 8% of Texas's workforce will benefit their economy. Since unemploymnet is smaller than the percent of people you are removing how do you do the math to backfill those jobs, Boiler? Or is it ok to just say there is no consequence because thats what your ideology wants to be true?
ANd whats the impact of removing those consumers from their respective local economy....you know - the money they spend on rent, groceries, barber shop, move theatres, automobiles, gas stations, etc, etc, etc.

Liberals are the ones who provide sanctuary protection by not cooperating with immigation officials. They want them, give them more!
There are plenty of jobs available for everyone that wants one! Especially American citizens and migrants who are here legally! That's what a strong economy and low unemployment numbers mean!
The Cargill article from Oct. 2018 also mentions overall unemployment as being a cause of difficulty finding new employees, and admits the problem represents less than 1% of their work force.
The Dallas article is from Jan. 2018. Texas needed (and probably still needs) an even larger construction worker pool to handle damage from hurricane Harvey.
The California/CNN (famrs?) article is almost a year old. It focused on a farmer who was having a hard time finding SKILLED labor.
The Arizona (fames?) article is the oldest of the four, going back to Oct. 2017. It deals more with the guest worker program than anything else.
The "good map" is a screen shot taken almost a year ago from who knows where? Given businesses don't report what percentage of their work force is here illegally, someone did some guessing, and you are running with it. Prove those numbers. You are a liar. The guy in that article described how he and others he knew obtained fake documents to find jobs. He bought his in Las Vegas after illegally crossing the Mexican border. None of them got the documents from Trump. None. Trump didn't refuse to report illegals. You think you can say anything about the man and people will believe it.
