Once the 15th amendment was passed it opened the door for federal review of elections to vote. Why the objection to mandating and proving ONLY citizens to vote?
That's a Tom-lie. If you're 18, federal law says you must be allowed to vote, but there is no federal law saying that anyone younger can't vote. That determination is up to the states.
There is no objection anywhere, by anyone, to requiring citizenship for voters. Thus, Tom's question is Tom-dumb.
