Seems the farmers like the Trump Welfare programs, most of them voted for him

You've completely stopped making any sense.

You don't usually start a trade war by carpet bombing your our economy.  And, I'm not sure Bone-Spur Trump is exactly the brave warrior to lead a war effort.

As usual liberals can't grasp the analogy.

After Pearl Harbor and the loss of the Phillipines as well as the huge losses in shipping; things looked bleak in the early days of the war.

Another WW2 analogy; Britain was expected to surrender after Dunkirk but didn't.

In these cases by staying the course the war was won.

Liberals surrender at the first sign of bad news and in WW2 would have surrendered.

I don't generally like government subsidies.  Ethanol, for example, is a government subsidy to farmers, and farmers also get other subsidies....although not as much as you think.  Ethanol production greatly increases corn production within the US.  In case of a major war, we could relatively shift corn for ethanol to food.  We could quickly stimulate oil production via fracking and oil well acidizing.  I view energy and food as the greatest national security needs.  A war can never be won without food or energy.

Regardless if you like them or not - they are going to happen.

And since DOGE didnt get any savings in the government.....and tariff money is going to subsidize farmers......you have to wonder how Repuiblicans are going to pay for their upcoming tax cut bill.

They are really concerned about the deficit.   Really concerned.    Right?   They wouldnt dare pass legislation to blow up the debt even more would they?

If you think this ends well you havent been paying attention.

Where would the MAGAs go for entertainment if they canceled the tranny strip shows?

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Ethanol corn and sweet corn are two different types. Ethanol is made from feed corn/field corn, while people eat sweet corn. I'm not a farmer, but I don't think it would be much different to switch from feed corn to sweet corn than to switch from hay to sweet corn.

Stupid and worthless analogy, in that we weren't at war with anyone when your hero Trump shat on all of us. There was no reason to start a war, either--but the Turd did.

There is no possibility that "the war will be won" by continuing tariffs. All that will happen is that our GDP will shrink and we will diminish our own wealth.

Stupid, stupid, stupid Tom.

Do you REALLY think that "in the case of a major war," petroleum production would matter? Or food production? What century you livin' in, boy?
