McConnell undermines every argument made by the GOP in the House

Moscow Mitch is going to be denying the same "witnesses" that Adam Schiff did which was the entire crux of the Republican counter-argument to the facts presented in the House.    Its also the main talking point of our boards' conservatives.      So...uh..either McConnell is also a part of Deep State....or that argument was just a bunch of crying in an effort to divert attention away from the witness testimony.     Hmmm.  Which can it be?

In the same article, McConnell promises that he will actually be coordinating with the defendant to make sure the process happens in accordance with the best strategy as to aquit him.    Thats not my inference.  He actually came out and said it.     Not even the judges Capone had in his pocket had the nerve to publicly announce they would help the defendant.   But thats how Republicans roll now.

The process is indeed "rigged" - but not for the reasons our resident FOX News junkies say.

But its all good.    The facts are out.   See you in November.

It's truely sad that people still support these dumb bastards. And then still consider themselves patriotic.

Trumpers are traitors. I've been saying that all along, but it's true whether I say it or not.

The Trumpers on this board hate our country and its values. Look at how reflexively they react to and scream about any issue regarding inequality (racial, social, income, etc.). They truly believe that the strong should rule and the weak should serve them. That's the very definition of evil, and utterly contrary to the principles upon which this country was founded.

They do feel some vestiges of guilt about this, of course. That's why they bleat so loudly and lie so readily. They don't want to admit the truth about themselves and their awful thoughts and actions.

A lot of the sentiments expressed by our Trumpers are standard old-white-guy slogans, and I take comfort in the fact that those obnoxious old fucks are dying off and that the Trump horror is the final gasp of a group and culture that is fading into irrelevance. May they all die slowly and painfully, clutching their MAGA hats inside oxygen tents.

I think that the long-term solution to Trumpism is education. Only stupid people support Trump. Therefore, we have to reduce the proportion of stupid people in this country. People can be educated, even the children of Trumpers!

Education...Education...Education...

Lots o'solutions:

1. Stop 'em from reproducing.

2. Take away their children and re-educate them.

3. Ship 'em off to Greenland after Trump buys it. (Offer current residents vacated Trumper mansions in the US.)

4. "Volunteer" the worst of them for the Space Force, and stuff them into a Mars colonization vessel with only enough fuel to get there, not return.

5. Ice-pick lobotomies, adminstered automatically by voting machines. We have the technology!

6. The "Beyond Trump" burger. Turns anyone who eats it into a liberal.

7. Mandatory IQ testing in order to be able to vote. Trump would have lost, 66,000,000 to 3.

Some of these solutions may seem a bit drastic and/or impractical, but if we don't get rid of Trumpers one way or another, America is doomed.

Sounds like Hitler or Mao to me.......I hope you are trying to be "funny" or sarcastic.  If not this is just plain hate and no better than the democrat backed KKK of the past....

"After the Klan was suppressed, similar insurgent paramilitary groups arose that were explicitly directed at suppressing Republican voting and turning Republicans out of office: the White League, which started in Louisiana in 1874; and the Red Shirts, which started in Mississippi and developed chapters in the Carolinas. For instance, the Red Shirts are credited with helping elect Wade Hampton as governor in South Carolina. They were described as acting as the military arm of the Democratic Party and are attributed with helping white Democrats regain control of state legislatures throughout the South.[33]

So so I don’t think he is being funny, but he sincerely believes this hate speech.

Obviously--duh--I was making a funny, as I used to say to my grandchild when she was 3.

Your remark about the "democrat backed KKK" is a fairly stupid attempt to slur the Democratic party. It was a different organization 150 years ago--duh. Since then, the Republican party has taken the lead in race hatred and oppression of black people.

The bottom line is Mitch McConnell is not allowing witnesses....ala Adam Schiff.      And since Republicans dont have the slightest problem with that we can officially scratch all of their complaints throughout the House procedings they pretended to be upset about.   Thats officially gone the way of Tom's criticism of presidents who play golf.

So all we are left with is testimony from Trump's handpicked appointees and State Department officials...and  the lack of testimony from someone tweeting under his desk.

(Oh...and uh....I dont expect a removal from office.   I fully expect lots of Republican Congress types talking out of both corners of their mouth.    My Indiana Senator, Mike Braun, did a great job of this on the news over the weekend)
