DonDiego's usually perfectly adequate reading skills failed him, as he did not realize that I was talking about a hypothetical situation that would have happened some, oh, 100 years ago if things had been different.

Would Mark please provide a full audio or video of Trump calling for the overthrow of the government?  No out of context snippets please.

Oh, I don't know. . . how about pressuring Pence to announce that he would not count the electoral votes from the swing states that Biden won so that Trump would have a majority of the votes cast; how about calling the governor of Arizona and trying to talk him out of certifying the electoral votes; how about calling the sec of state of Georgia and trying to coerce him into "finding just 7,840 votes"; how about coercing the governor of Georgia to not certify the election in his state; how about inviting the majority leaders of the Pennsylvanis legislature to the White House to try to get them to replace the electoral voters picked by the voters with those the legislature would choose; how about calling the election certifiers from Wayne county to get them to not forward the votes from Detroit;  how about lobbying the certification board for Michigan to refuse to acknowledge how the people voted . . . .   All of these were an attempt to overthrow the votes of millions of Americans and select a man as president who lost the popular and electoral vote.   I would say that all were an attempt to overturn the government.  Did you support any of these Trump actions?  

That's a coincidence! Holocaust deniers point out accurately that there was no direct order from Hitler to exterminate the Jews. For that matter, Henry II never ordered the murder of Thomas Beckett, he just asked, "Will no one rid me of this turbulent priest?" And with all the tapes of John Gotti, there is nothing where he is directly ordering a crime.

With mobsters and autocrats, and let's face it, Trump is both, there is rarely a direct order. That doesn't prevent us from condemning them and convicting them.

Anyone claiming that Trump didn't order the MAGA riot is either delusional, blinded by Trump-love, or inhabiting an alternate universe.

Yes, of course, all immigration and illegal immigration should be lumped together and ALL Republicians are also the same.  Too bad everyone couldn't be an Angelic Democrat.

Did you agree with, and support the repeated lies about election fraud?  Did you support the repeated, and blatant post-election Trump moves to overturn the election?  Would you have voted in Congress to set aside the democratically elected electors from the swing states?   Your answers determines what kind of Republican you are.

Think about that for a minute

The Republican Party is the most ideologically monolithic party in American history. Look at how very, very few Republican members of Congress dare to stand up to Trump. Look at how many Republican voters stand behind him even with his lies, treason, fraud, and riot-baiting. 74 million voted for one of the most repulsive human beings to ever walk the earth.

So with a very few exceptions, all Republicans ARE the same. Any who wish to distinguish themselves from the oozing, putrid mass can, let's see, maybe admit that Trump isn't the Bigly Genius Glorious Beloved Leader that every Republican claims he is?
