By "climate people" you mean Donald Trump and Red State governors who spout the same giberrish you do while secretly exchanging money to protect their shorelines from the hoax.
If you side with NASA scientists and the consensus of the scientific community you would agree that is money well spent.
If you side with the dipshit in Congress who thinks he refuted climate change because it snowed in February then you should be outraged by this spending.

Only a true ignoramus (Tom) would say that the strong consensus of thousands of scientists is wrong. Because, y'know, Trump says it's all a hoax.
The Republican lawmakers know damn well that climate change is real and a serious threat. But they get big fat checks for denying it. After all, what's more important, human lives or money? Money, of course!--if you're a Republican.
