I think that, just to balance the scales, the Democrats should invent a conspiracy that the Republican Party hired the shooter to make Trump appear a martyr and generate sympathy for him, and he missed because he was supposed to. And of course, he was immediately blown away by the Secret Service so he couldn't reveal who he was really working for.
Then we should slather that conspiracy theory all over social media, relentlessly, until it becomes, as David Miller would say, DA TROOTY TROOT.
Why shouldn't we do the Fox Nooze thing, after all?

Because I like to have integrity and I prefer the party I affiliate with does too.
