Kevin, how does the fingerprinting process work during an autopsy?

Wow, 6 hours after the bad guy died, he was identified.  That length of time certainly proves a right wing conspiracy.

People doing the autopsy, or anyone else with lawful access to the body, can take the deceased's fingerprints.

(For anyone who cares, fingerprints of corpses can degrade over time, but not for several days.)

Don't they finish doing the typical 2- 4 hour autopsy before running prints?  I don't  know.  I do know that 6 hours after death the bad guy was identified, and dick heads were complaining abouthow long the process took.  I'm guessing that's because MAGA NAZI took an hour to get the guy to the slab.

How long it takes to identify a corpse depends on whether a) the dead person had reliable identification and/or a friend or relative can positively identify him b) such identification is needed because the deceased is involved in a crime as victim, perpetrator, or person of interest.

If there's no urgency as above, the first job of the medical examiner will be to determine the cause of death, which may or may not require an autopsy. Then the ME will attempt to gather enough info to issue a death certificate.

The process of running prints may have taken longer if the deceased's prints weren't in any law enforcement database.

Suddenly the Trump administration doesn't want to speculate about a motive. Don't you think that is odd given they were willing to speculate about Kirk's killer right out the gate and are still telling lies about him? If it is a right winger or even an ICE employee can we take everyone off the public airwaves that have said hateful things about immigrants and migrants?

Two detainees dead victims of MAGA fascism, one sniper dead and there is a possible second shooter. Do you think Keystone Kash is on the way? Can we declare the MAGA movement a terrorist organization now?

As to the motive the guy was a right-winger as detainees were shot not ICE employees. I will concede there is a small possibility that the shooter was from the left and a terrible shot.

Once again mark is wrong and was spreading lies about the motive of the future.
