Anyway, here's the link: Retail Group Retracts Startling Claim About ‘Organized’ Shoplifting

You know that claim they made that 50% of the retail losses were due to organized gangs? Turns out it's closer to 5%.

Of course. This was all a RepubliQ-fueled effort--led by, among others, Florida Man and the Orange Turd--to vastly overstate the losses from shoplifting in order to choke off online retailing.

And naturally, that propaganda effort was fueled by lies and gross exaggeration--like social media showing the same video of ONE shoplifter over and over and over.

It's all bullshit.

On December 4, the National Retail Federation formally withdrew that statement, because:

1. There was NEVER any study as they claimed.

2. Their report was based on testimony in a Congressional hearing.

3. The testimony was based on data from 2016.

Oh, but here's a statement you can rely on: Shoplifting has declined 7% since 2019.

The numbers do not reflect that 1) -gutless liberal prosecutors are not sentencing these thieves in DemocRat cities, 2) - felony charges have fallen since the threshold for changing these thieves has been raised to $1000, 3) retailers had resorted to locking up their stock to stop shop lifters, 4) bag checking at exits, 5) installing video cameras, 6) hiring off duty police and/or security services --- all of these listed reasons are why shop lifting numbers have stayed steady or slightly decreased - unless you live in these states and cities----Based on the reported inventory losses, the NRF found that the cities most impacted by retail theft last year were: Los Angeles, California Oakland/San Francisco, California, New York City, New York Seattle, Washington Atlanta, Georgia Sacramento, California and Chicago, Illinois (tied) Denver, Colorado; Miami, Florida; and Albuquerque, New Mexico This is the fifth consecutive year that Los Angeles has topped out the list after overtaking New York City in 2018.

So you quote a report...and those making that report have withdrawn it, confessing that it was false...but you believe it anyway, because you want to. Then the actual numbers are shown to you, and you say that "The numbers do not reflect" blah blah blah.

You're a good RepubliQ MAGA moron. You define the truth as "what I want to believe," and if the actual truth refutes and schools you, well, you just claim that ITZ ALL FAKE NOOZE.

You're full of shit, Davey Dog. You decided to parrot some nonexistent phenemenon that a conservitard politician was attempt to score points with. You believed it wholeheartedly, like a good puppet. Then when refuted and schooled, you start to go "Um, er, but..."

Jesus, admit that you took the propaganda bait already.

Hey, dick cheese only ONE aspect of the report was redacted - the rest was 100% true. Meanwhile --The numbers do not reflect that 1) -gutless liberal prosecutors are not sentencing these thieves in DemocRat cities, 2) - felony charges have fallen since the threshold for changing these thieves has been raised to $1000, 3) retailers had resorted to locking up their stock to stop shop lifters, 4) bag checking at exits, 5) installing video cameras, 6) hiring off duty police and/or security services --- all of these listed reasons are why shop lifting numbers have stayed steady or slightly decreased - unless you live in these states and cities----Based on the reported inventory losses, the NRF found that the cities most impacted by retail theft last year were: Los Angeles, California Oakland/San Francisco, California, New York City, New York Seattle, Washington Atlanta, Georgia Sacramento, California and Chicago, Illinois (tied) Denver, Colorado; Miami, Florida; and Albuquerque, New Mexico This is the fifth consecutive year that Los Angeles has topped out the list after overtaking New York City in 2018.

SUCKER!

The RepubliQ propaganda mill has you by the balls.

And shoplifting has declined 7% since 2019. I notice no one is refuting that one.

Well, David cites numbers (from whatever ass-of-the-internet source) when those numbers agree (seemingly) with what he wants to hear, and when those numbers refute him, they "do not reflect" what he wants DA TROOTY TROOT to be.

It's so easy being a MAGA! You like reality, fine--you don't like it, it's just all FAKE NOOZE. Sorta reminiscent of the Orange Turd bleating that he couldn't possibly lose an election, hmm?
