There are no cities "run by Democrats." Or Republicans, for that matter. They are run by elected officials, and in no city are they all from one party.

Here is one of the posted comments to the topic here I posted - about YOUR city of Portland -Angus O McEwen Sorry to burst your bubble, but, Nope. I live in Portland OR area... most of the stores are doing this now. In fact, there's more things locked up than out in the open in many shops.
