Should Bernie Madoff be let out of jail early?

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/sen-kennedy-urges-barr-to-deny-early-prison-release-for-bernie-madoff-alan-stanford

Ultimately I dont think Madoff did anything worse than what Goldman Sachs did leading up to the 2008 financial crisis...which is to say sell customers fraudulent investments that were known to be worthless.    Llyod Blankfein won Financial Times person of the year.   Madoff rots in prison.   GO figure.

Madoff might get out early - I doubt it will be any less controversial than  Paul Manafort or Roger Stone's inevitable pardon.     Rod Blagovich and Joe Arpaio  won the president's heart for being treated "very unfairly"  by the Deep State justice system.  So  maybe Bernie too.

Would PJ sell a worthless used car?

Ask the thousands of people this criminal robbed what they think about Madoff being released. I doubt that there is one bleeding heart who lost their money would agree with PJ. Let the thieving bastard rot in prison. He knew what he was doing and did not care.

I dont approve of Madoff's freedom...I disapprove of several Wall Street executives freedom.

Madoff sold shares of his ponzei scheme that he sold to investors as A+ investment.   Goldman Sachs sold mortgage backed securities to their clients as A+ investments in order to  liquidate their own positions in them.

I dont see a difference.   But I guess the former is technically illegal whereas the latter was not.    Probably too difficult for David to get his head around without help from a facebook meme.

It's simple. If Trump isn't in prison, then Madoff shouldn't be, either. Massive financial fraud doesn't get you a prison sentence---it gets you elected to the highest office in the land!

I expect Trump to award Madoff the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
