The simpler, fairer tax code - results are in

Individual taxation revenue increased but corporate tax revenue is way down which is inline with what I said all along. Namely, a lot of middle class taxpayers financed the tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations.

The reason that federal tax revenues are up while both corporate and personal income taxes are down is due the stimulative affect.  In 2019 we will see revenues soar.  Here's a look at how the federal tax cuts are increasing tax receipts at the state and local levels.  Liberals apparantly hate success.

"In July, Connecticut lowered its sales tax on marine vessels to 2.99 percent from 6.35 percent in response to pressure from several marine businesses losing revenue to surrounding states. Not only were sales flat, but registrations to the state dropped over the last eight years, according to Petzold.

However the tax reduction are proving to be a boon to the economy.  Petlzold said sales skyrocketed within the first 10 months.

“Right now our sales have gone up by millions of dollars year over year since that tax,” he said. “Our unit volume is up 70 percent and we're getting into our busiest boating season right now.”

“Based on the increased sales and increase in sales, we need store personnel we need people in our camera shops, we need people in our service departments. We've added 9 new people since this has taking place and these are, you know, good paying skilled jobs.”

Tom, Liberals don't understand that cheaper prices and increased revenues are tied together.  The don't understand than when compannies make more money that they employ more people.  They don't unenderstand, or don't care, that the the supply of limitless unskilled laborers crossing our border depresses wages for unskilled laborers.  I simply don't get their mindset.
