Census counting ends early because ... why not? and counters quit
Governing achievements of the Trump administration now include f-ing up the census. The most basic task of Counting people has proven to be too difficult for this administration....just like running the post office....and following the guidelines of the CDC during a pandemic....and getting aid to Puerto Rico after a Hurricane..
One third of the staff have quit for various reasons.
6 months is plenty of time for people to fill out a 5 minute form that people could put in the mail.
Speaking of following the CDC, cuomo has decided not to follow their guidelines in regards to the quarantine rules.

I didn't think Republicans like mail-in data. Its wrought with fraud !
The administration ordered an early termination to counting because they somehow thinks that benefits them politcally....kinda like their dismantling of the post office...and shaking down Ukraine's government.
What other institution of the Federal government will Trump and his indifferent Senate lackies try to dismantle next? I'm guessing the IRS.
