So Much For Trump's Black Friend

A black Republican who attended a Trump rally in 2016 and was infamously praised by then-candidate Donald Trump as “my African American” has left the GOP.

In an interview with PBS News, conservative Gregory Cheadle says that he has now become an independent because of how Trump has infected his former party with his brand of toxic racism.

The 62-year-old real estate broker, who tells PBS that he has long supported the GOP’s pro-free market approach to the economy, says that the president has been transforming the GOP into a “pro-white” party rather than a party representing all Americans.

No sane black person should vote for Trump, or support the Republican Party.

Actually, no sane person, period, should do either. Trump does have the Nazi/white supremacist vote locked down though.

Nazis were just like you Kevin, every belief you have!

Kevin's position is only true if he believes that black people are not interested in jobs and increasing pay.  Kevin, only a racist would hold such a position.

Molly,

I doubt if Mr. Watts was a Nazi or even like the Nazis.

Nope. That's a stupid and wildly inaccurate insult. I disagree with everything the Nazis stand/stood for.

You have a touching faith that the Republican party is the party of "jobs." Let's not forget the 10% unemployment rates that followed the Republican recession of 2007-2009 (Obama fixed Dubya's blunders, but it took a couple of years). Let's not forget the reduction of farm exports by two-thirds due to Trump's tariffs. Let's not forget that the "party of fiscal responsibility" is now running up trillion-dollar deficits--as it did during the previous two Republican administrations. And let's not forget that workers' wages have been stagnant for three decades and the average person's purchasing power has plummeted. A job earning minimum wage is no real job at all.

Anyway, don't call me a racist because I think that black people shouldn't vote for Trump. That's a stupid, asshole thing for you to say. Black people should vote Democrat because of Republicans' active, ongoing, strenuous efforts to keep black people from voting. The Republican party is indeed racist, and if you're a Republican, you should be appalled at that--if you have a conscience and a moral center, that is. Do you have such things, Molly, Boilerman, Stalker, et al.?

Molly isn't too bright.
