I'm not an expert on Florida law, but in most States the value of the homestead exemption cannot be impaired by a lien. That is why Florida is a desirable location for those thinking they're gonna have to file bankruptcy.
Right--it can't be included in a bankruptcy proceeding. But others can place a lien on the property if they have a judgment against him. That would be completely separate from the bankruptcy proceeding. It would have to be a judgment reached in a state other than Florida
Besides, here's a tasty tidbit--as Trump has continually referred to Mar El Asshole as a business asset and has said he lives in NYC, his creditors can challenge the homestead exemption.
