If Joe Biden had his way we would have been out of Afghanistan the day after we killed Bin Laden.    And we never would have spent the 3 trillion dollars chasing WMD's in Iraq.

In hindsight, Sleepy Joe was right on both counts.

Republicans cant figure out if leaving Afghanistan was a good idea or not.   It depends on what time of day you ask and what corner of their mouth you are talking to.    And Iraq is an even bigger quandry for them.   They spent 15 years telling liberals they hated America and the troops for oppossing it....and now they have to turn themselves into a pretzel rationalizing Trump's same position.

What RNG did you use to generate your "stats"? 😂😂😂

The vast majority of the equipment left behind was a) meant for the Afghani army to use b,) worn out and/or obsolete c) not worth the effort to transport out of there. You might think the Taliban is now a superpower, but they don't have the skills or the spare parts to keep all that stuff going for long.

In any case, your "report" is a fanciful gross exaggeration.

I guess this video of the taliban parading the equipment is AI?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lswu5gztRbI

in any case, leaving all that behind regardless of what shape it was in was stupid AF, if not criminal.

I don't get my information from some rando asshole's Facebook video--you know that. And of COURSE the Taliban paraded around and waved their dicks. They won. Hooray.

Leaving the stuff behind was a choice, since we had enough leverage to get whatever we wanted to out of there--including quite a few people. Anything worth keeping--and transporting,--we kept.

I mean, really, Iggo...do you think we had our top shelf stuff over there in the first place? Biden consulted his commanders and they saved whatever they felt was worth saving. They had weeks to evacuate--the Taliban stayed away, as agreed.

Rando Asshole's Facebook Video is actually from:

The Times is a British daily national newspaper based in London. It began in 1785 under the title The Daily Universal Register, adopting its modern name on 1 January 1788. The Times and its sister paper The Sunday Times (founded in 1821), are published by Times Media, since 1981 a subsidiary of News UK, in turn wholly owned by News Corp. The Times and The Sunday Times were founded independently and have had common ownership only since 1966.[2] It is considered a newspaper of record in the UK
