Tom is lying--Obama did not decrease Medicare funding or restrict access to the program. He addressed fraud and was effective in identifying and stopping it. Of course, there's still some fraud, but to say "fraud continues" is like observing a 90% reduction in crime rates and saying, "Well, crime continues, so we didn't accomplish anything."

Tom is immune to logic and reason--he just wants to believe whatever Fox News is feeding him that day.

Whatever Obama did or did not do, though, has nothing to do with what Trump is doing or plans to do. Our Trumpers love to use the "what about Obama" or "what about Hillary" argument, even when the comparison is nonsensical. Only Trump has starved the Treasury in order to give big money to his billionaire friends.

But I want to thank Tom for citing the source he routinely has called a liberal sham group when they scored the horrible budget impact of Republicans proposal to repeal Obamacare.

Tom's  source shows how Republicans want to raise the budget defict even more by implementing legislation that Tom passionately advocates.   

 Tom, as he so often does, confuses two financial concepts. He's repeatedly shown that he doesn't know the difference between national debt and budget deficit.

Likewise, he doesn't understand the difference between spending and costs. Obama decreased Medicare spending--because he decreased Medicare costs by an equivalent amount.

The bottom line is that no one who was eligible for the program had their benefits reduced. Trump, in contrast, wants to cut EVERYONE'S benefits by 20% or more.
