(1) Income disparity is at record levels....as is the total percentage of taxes paid by the wealthiest vs middle class.
(2) MAGA is really triggered by taxes aimed at the wealthiest people whilst they cheer tariffs that hit middle and lower class people.
It takes an incredibly stupid member of the middle class to embrace (2) which hurts their own interests.. Enter MAGA and specifically David MIller.

Tariffs did not hit the classes you lie about - they hit the other nations and made them trade fairly with America and have brought jobs back to America. Very good, Tom ! Thats right in line with the amount of the country's wealth they possess which is at record levels like I said.. And it has nothing to do with the point I was making.
If you look at the individual tax rates the top 1% pays on that wealth its alot less than what you and I pay.
Billionaire taxes like the one in this thread equalize the playing field. Tariffs do the oppositte.
