Yes, satire makes me wet. 😆 I do like sexual debauchery as long as it isn't violent and only involves consenting adults.

Openly mocking god?  How does one mock someone that doesn't exist?

I don't understand how any rational person could have equated that part of the opening ceremony with the Last Supper?

It was a bunch of drag queens, with the center one as the DJ of a runway show.  Why and how did this get so blown out of proportion?  I saw this as it was happening, and saw it as a runway show with some drag queens dancing to music as the models paraded by.  The blue dude was kind of stange, but how did this have any relevance to the last supper.  Did people really take the overweight drag queen DJ as Jesus?  

This just shows that some people just don't understand modern culture or artistic expression.  

For a distressingly large portion of humanity, the need to get kerfuffled about something--anything--far surpasses the bounds of rationality. And yowza, for a religion that preaches tolerance and love, them Christians sure do get kerfuffled at the drop of a hat.

I think the French must be chuckling about this nonsense. Hell, for well over 100 years, France, and Paris in particular, has been a sin pit of performative debauchery. Edso, there is a certian part of the media that makes money by manufacturing outrage.  The people who consume this media do so because feeling that outrage and anger triggers an endorphin release comparable to the endorphin release one gets from masterbation. 

Most consumers of this outrage media quickly become addicted. The outrage media makes a boatload of money from their captive audience that needs their fix.

Like all addictions it gets worse over time and addicts  must consume ever increasing amounts of media that cause them to feel outraged and angery. 

Futhermore, the media they consume has to consntatly become more and more extreame as the addict becomes desensitized and needs more extream content to achive the same endorphin high.

Every conservative media outlet knows their addicts are standing by with their kleenex and lotion in hand waiting for release. If they don't give their addicts what they need to get that release they will get it elsewhere.

This is how we get all of these ridiculous and completey fabricated stories of real life events.

Republicans better not watch Madonna's "Like a Prayer" video from 40 years ago.     Its too gritty and blasphemous for their snowflake feelings.
