The real evil at work here is that Republicans can point to Obamacare and say, "SEE?? It's not working!" after they've starved it of funding.

 

Remember when the moral high dudgeon was about the individual mandate? That no one should be forced to buy health insurance? Well, the Republicans got rid of that. And their efforts to destroy Obamacare continued unabated. Pretty hypocritical, eh?

 

I still don't understand why the Republicans are so fucking outraged over people getting health care. Racism and classism are at the core of their sentiments and worldview, of course, but why all these drastic efforts, which have now been going on for the better part of a decade? Aren't there other things they could be doing that would benefit the country rather than hurting it?
