State governments monitoring women's pregnancies? Trump is cool with that.

Interviewer: Do you think states should monitor women's pregnancies so they can know if they've gotten an abortion after the ban?

Trump: I think they might do that. Again, you'll have to speak to the individual states. Look, Roe v. Wade was all about bringing it back to the states.

Perfect answer, leave it up to the states. Federal government has bigger things to worry about. He never said he was cool with it, nice try though.

So American women have autonomy over their body in some states but not others? Got it.  So if your state encated mandatory castration for males who dont want to produce children you would be the first in line? Anything to prevent abortion right?

Or, you could put it that babies have a right to life in some states and not in others. You probably think I'm a pro-lifer but actually that's not correct. I believe women should have the right to their body but I also know there are others out there (men and women) that believe differently. I'm not arrogant enough to say my beliefs are better than theirs and force a one size fits all approach on everyone. I think, like SCOTUS has ruled, the best approach is to leave it up to states to decide and let the federal government focus on things that affect the majority of Americans.

I respectfully disagree with people who say an embryo is a life.    But I understand that postion and I respect it.

But if you say an embryo is a life in some states but not others then you dont believe your own bullshit.

And if you say "its up to the states" to have law enforcement monitor pregnant women for any suspicious activity then you are ok with that behavior.    Trump says he is ok with any state that would do that.   Just like he is ok with states that outlaw abortions without any restricitons.     And there's a market of people who want to hear that in this country - but polls shows they are a massive minority.  Good luck selling that bullshit in the election.

And he's ok with states that allow abortions, you forgot that part.

Quick question - How does one become a human being if they do not begin life as an embryo?

It takes a sperm and an egg. And yeah, they're not babies either.

Embryo - embrēˌō/ noun 1. an unborn or unhatched offspring in the process of development, in particular a human offspring during the period from approximately the second to the eighth week after fertilization (after which it is usually termed a fetus).
