Steve Bannon Another Trump Dirtbag Arrested

Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon and three others were arrested and charged with defrauding hundreds of thousands of donors who contributed to a fundraising campaign for a private border wall, the U.S. attorney's office for the Southern District of New York said Thursday.

...but he only hires the best people.  Don't feel too bad for his victims. They were just gullible Trumpers that never learn despite being burned over and over again.

Are we close to a RICO case like we have against other ongoing criminal organizations?

More self dealing from a non-profit?

I can remember when Republicans shit their pants over the Clinton Foundation which did nothing but save lives and earn high marks for its efficient administration and transparency.

Conmen, grifters and criminals, oh my!

Let me ask  you guys a question.  Is there anything worse than the FBI agent pleading guilty to falsifying documents in order to allow the Democrats to spy on the Trump campaign?  He's middle managment.  This goes much higher.

Well, yes--having the campaign chairman, the assistant campaign manager, the national security advisor, the campaign strategist/ White House counselor,  the personal lawyer, a foreign policy advisors, and a personal advisor all indicted, found guilty or pleading guilty, and being named as an unindicted co-conspirator yourself, are worse than one rogue FBI officer.  And . . . this goes much higher.

I hope people stealing donor money go to jail.  Do you equate this with falsifying documents to gain a FISA warrent to spy illegally on a campaign?  This FBI agent did not go rogue.  You know it and I know it.  You don't care.

I can think of two things worse:

1)  William Barr making shit up and acting as the president's secret service instead of the country's attorney.  ANd feeding you his BS to rationalize the president's treason.

2) People who think the bullshit Barr made up is more important than the president and his scumbag campaign working with hostile nations to undermine our Democracy.

Does PJ disagree that this happened.  It's pretty easy to check the original email and the doctored email for differences.

No, your article has it right.   Note the part highlighted in red.    And thanks for citing it....

You seem alot more upset about an FBI agent's email as oppossed to the bipartisan findings of every investigation that looked into the felonious and treasonous activities of the Trump campaign and administration.

And thats just the way Trump and Barr want you to feel.

From Boilerman's article:

The Senate Intelligence Committee, after its own three-year investigation that maintained a broader counterintelligence focus, built on those findings this week with a bipartisan report laying out an extensive web of contacts between Trump campaign advisers and Russian officials. Among them, it said Konstantin V. Kilimnik, with whom the onetime Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort privately shared internal polling data and campaign strategy, was a “Russian intelligence officer” with links to the Kremlin’s election interference operation. Senators said the dynamic “represented a grave counterintelligence threat.”

Mr. Trump has sought to portray such scrutiny as a “hoax” and a plot by the so-called deep state to sabotage him for political reasons. While the Page wiretap was a small piece of the investigation, the president and his allies have sought to conflate the overall effort with it, using the serious problems Mr. Horowitz uncovered with its applications to discredit the entire enterprise.
