Still in Mexico with my my Mexican friends Carlos, Ivan, David etc

We've not discussed illegal entry into the US, yet maybe that will happen before I leave.  It never entered my mind to bring it up.  I suspect most Mexicans don't believe in illegal entry...............maybe I'll ask tomorrow.  Wondurful food, drink, friend and weather.  The hangover..........not so much.

I would imagine, though, that many of the people you encounter have friends/relatives living in the US---I would also imagine that they were angered and saddened by Trump's attacks on their country. So I wouldn't bring it up if I were you--and I wouldn't disclose that you're a Trumper.

I suppose that anyone who spends any length of time among the Mexican people would disagree with Trump's characterizations of them and their country. They're warm and hospitable, and their country is welcoming. I agree about the food and drink, too.

Trump demonizes only illegal immigration, just as the Mexicon government does.  Crazy and nutty Liberals disagree.

I know you evil and stupid conservatives SAY that all the time, but show me ONE instance where any liberal, or anyone else, has ever said that he/she supports illegal immigration. And if somehow you manage to do that, show me how that can be extrapolated to a general blanket statement about what liberals think. (And I won't accept any "proof" other than a verifiable quote of a liberal saying, "I support illegal immigration.")

The actuality is that liberals aren't as existentially upset by illegal immigration as conservatives are. Liberals are concerned about it, but conservatives are in an eyes-bugged-out panties-twisted lather about it, to the point where they're willing to blow tens of billions of dollars in a futile effort to prevent it. Then when liberals object to throwing billions of dollars away on Da Wall, or object to the imprisonment of children, the Fox News counterattack is "LIBURRULS SUPPORT OPEN BORDERZ!!!!"

Also, you're absolutely dead wrong about Trump's views. He's repeatedly said that he opposes ALL immigration and wants to stop it completely--except maybe from Norway.

And just in case I haven't mentioned it, the word "liberals" should only be capitalized if it begins a sentence or is the name of an organization. Why are you having such trouble with that? I learned it in kindergarten. Learn English, it'll make you, well, not smarter--much too late for that--but perhaps, more articulate.

Okay, I'll concede once again to Kevin.  He is against illegal immigration, yet he's against enforcing illegal immigration laws.  You win.

I am against spending tens of billions of dollars to hunt down and persecute people who are living a harmless existence in the US, even if they are here illegally.

I am more concerned with the disruption and pain that conducting a Soviet-style purge and explusion of illegals would bring. Yeah, it would make the racist MAGA crowd happy. That's not enough to justify the cost, both monetary and human.

I'm tired of the stupid Trump-style false equivalence argument that says if you are against ANY aspect of Trump's immigration policy, such as locking small children in cages, you must be in favor of open borders. Just like if you favor ANY kind of gun regulation, you're A NO-GOOD SOOOOOCIALIST WHO WANTZ TO DESTROYS R PRESHUS SECUND AMENDAMENT RAGHTS.

 You mean the cages Obama locked them in during his administration? If you are illegal, you don't belong here - do it the right way like millions have done before.
