Democrats love to take actions that hurt the American people when they leave office so they have something to advertise to their base. This election they banned drilling for oil and made one of the largest increases ever in federal lands when leaving office. If these were changes needed to better America, why didn't they do it when entering office? Democrats knew that Trump was going to cut gas prices just like he did his first term. They would rather harm the American people for a chance to derail the Republican party. The truth is these out of office changes were nothing but something for them to run on in the next election.
