The Strange Case Of Elliott Broidy

For those of you that missed it, last month, the Wall Street Journal reported that Michael Cohen arranged a $1.6 million-dollar hush money payout to former Playboy Bunny Shera Bechard on behalf of Elliott Broidy to cover up an affair.  The story says the affair ended when Bechard informed Broidy she was pregnant.  Upon learning he knocked up his mistress, Broidy being the top-notch Republican family values guy that he is paid her 1.6 million dollars to "help" her through an abortion.

It was basically a one-day story because Broidy isn’t that well-known of a guy despite being a top Republican fundraiser and the deputy finance chair of the RNC at the time.  His former boss was Steve Wynn (Another top-notch Republican family values guy).

A few weeks ago, it was Michael Avenatti that first suggested that something was off about the Broidy payoff story.  He seemed to suggest that Broidy was taking one for team Trump. He based this on his observation of Cohen in court.  When Cohen was asked to name his clients Avenatti said, he named three clients Donald Trump, The Trump Organization and Sean Hannity.   So, if Cohen arranged the hush money deal for Broidy how come he wasn’t named as a client?

Today the New York Magazine published a good piece on this connecting the dots. It does look like Broidy may have simply fallen on his sword for Trump.

A lot of Trump supporters equate abortion to murder. If Trump arranged to have his unborn child aborted in 2016, will this change anything for them?

Can LVA forum Trump supporters stomach supporting a guy that carried on an affair while he was in the White House and arraigned for his mistress to have an abortion while he was in the White House?  Keep in mind most of you have claimed in the last few months (defending Trump) that Bill Clinton deserved to get impeached because the BJ was received while he was President and that Trump does not because the actual sex acts he participated in took place before he was President.
