Just a friendly reminder that David took other peoples' money during COVID because he couldnt take care of himself.
Just a fun fact to know when he complains about people who take checks from the government.
Have a welfare free day !

Here is the reality to the above inflamatory statement. -- I, like MILLIONS of other tax paying, working Americans accepted the money offered after I was laid off because of covid impacting where I worked. I neither asked for or signed a contract to repay the money that was offered. - Because of this money I, like the MILLIONS of other tax paying Americans was able to pay my bills until I was called back to work. -- This scenario is radically different than the tactic brain dead Biden and the DemocRats have utilized in order to BUY votes from those who signed contracts to repay loans they received. Anyone with an IQ of 80 and above can see the difference and understand why I and MILLIONS of other tax paying Americans accepted this money.
"The government" did what it is supposed to do, which is to support its citizens during times of crisis.
Not every citizen or business was 'helped' at the same speed, since it was like a tsunami with people using sand buckets to hold back the water. Fraudsters worked faster [and somehow always do] than normal honest people, and unfortunately $$$$ were directed to those crooks before their scams were caught years later. But I digress.
My hairdresser, one of milliions of 'independent workers' who had to wait weeks before her application was acted on, survived by having saved for such times; had she allowed regular customers to come to her house for a hair cut, etc., could be arrested, fined, jailed. That's crazy, but that's the way it works, since she wouldn't have been able to apply for a license in time to do that, since local govt offices were barely open...on and on craziness.
Me, I didn't 'accept' a Covid check, but one, actually two, came to my mailbox. Maybe because I'm on the taxpayer/direct deposit annuity rolls. They were relatively minimal amounts, but I was grateful for it since I'm a US citizen, worked for a living, paid taxes then and to this day.
So it is silly for anyone to waste time thinking of who [legitimately] does and who doesn't get a payment of some sort, at some time [because we qualified/earned them], except for actual scammers who, for some reason, the powers that be can't seem to identify and put a stop to very efficiently
Candy.
Thats exactly right, Candy.
-Some people become unemployed and the government helps while they get on their feet.
-Some people are disabled and get checks.
-Some people are farmers amidst bad commodity prices and get checks.
-Some people are single moms with deadbeat dads who get food stamps and Medicaid.
-Some people lost work and got checks during a pandemic
-And some people got a degree in social work only to be confronted with six figure debt on a salary of $35k
What do you say to someone who falls into one of those categories and ridicules somone in one of the other categories for being a welfare bum? How about we just call them David Miller.

I have no problem with the first 5 categories you list. I do have a problem with the last one you list becaise (1) They chose to get the loan that they contracted and agreed to repay. (2) they chose the type of degree and work that they wanted to do after college. (3) They do not fall into the 5 categories that you listed, -and- (4), other TAX PAYING citizens are paying for the momey/debt that these people received. --- By the way- there are literally millions of people who take advantage of the welfare system - a system funded by actual working, tax paying citizens. There are actual generations of these welfare thieves who refuse and choose not to work even though they do not fit into the 5 categories you listed. How about we call them thieves?
Of course thats how you feel.
Nowhere is it written in the Constituion that farmers get bailed out when their career cant keep their head above water. But hypocrites like you think thats ok whilst you cry about other people in the same boat. I cant help you with that beyond pointing to your double standard.
And if you were retired on your retirement income then you didnt need a COVID check. Your retirement income wasnt impacted by COVID. If you want to take that check anyway - thats fine. Thats legal. But it nullifies your integrity when you complain about people who "take advantage of the system". You didnt need that check but you gladly took it anyway. And now you complain about college students who take their check.
They can just as easily complain about you using the same logic

I disagree.I am not complaining - I just state facts - You seem to forget that Social Security is set up to allow me (and millions of other Social Security recipiants) to continue to work after I start recieving Social Security checks. After paying into Social Security for 50 years, I eaned the right to receive the Social Security monies I receive - that is the way Social Security was set up and is used by millions of other tax payers/social security recipiants. I was working full time ( and was laid off) when covid hit. I qualified for the covid checks I received, checks that stopped once I returned to work. One other thing, the checks I received only lasted til I became employed again - the money I received was generated by previous taxes I paid and, to a degree, are being repaid by the taxes I paid after resuming work. As you can see, you whole arguement is null and void since I was working (and was laid off) when covid hit.
Here's a fun fact too !
Donald Trump had contracts to borrow and pay back money. And 6 times he renegged and got bailed out by bankruptcy courts. Despite being a billionaire he left all of that money unpaid to the people he owed it to.
Trumps bankruptices detailed
And you're voting for the deadbeat, right David?

What does this question have to do with your moronic rant concerning my Covid relief checks? Apparently you have nothing sane or logical to back up your question, therefore you now attempt to divert the topic - your typical fallback liberal tactic.
