Super Duper News: Mueller Probe Making A Profit

Rember how all the cons including Traitor Tot cried about how much the Mueller probe was costing.  Guess what? Manafort's plea deal requires him to forfeit to the government 22 million in real estate plus another 23 million in bank accounts and other assets. The investigation is now turning a profit. Congratulations Donnie, you didn't get Mexico to pay for a wall and your tax cuts didn't pay for themselves but you finally managed to come up with a program that increases government revenue.

And I can't wait to hear all of the wonderful things Manafort has to say about Donnie and his Russian pals.  Don't forget Manafort attended the infamous Trump Tower meeting with agents of the Russian government.

Mark, I don't know you, it is really none of my business, I'm not aligned with either political party, and I don't usually 'talk' like this, but I think you seriously need to get laid.  Cheers.

Candy, here's the deal. I wanted to see this forum take off after the reboot. So, I made it a point to start one or two threads a day hoping to stimulate activity. I'm happy to say that a lot of our regulars from the old forum came back.

I've noticed that if new things aren't posted the conversation dies pretty quickly. I'd be happy if more people started threads about any topic. Whenever anybody does, I try to reply and keep the conversation going if it's remotely interesting to me.

If you or anybody else will commit to starting one or two threads a day that are interesting enough that people respond to them, I will cut way back.

Hell, start a book club thread. I love to read and I generally don't read political books.

Mark, you put a whole new spin on what I was thinking about you!  LOL.  Seriously, thanks.

I'm the last one to start a book club thread.  I joined a book club (my church), and usually I'm maybe halfway through the chosen book by the next meeting (monthly), while everyone else has read THAT book and one or two others.  But I continue the struggle.  I prefer non-fiction, historical, etc., while the group leans toward fiction, but I'm a slow reader either way.

I have wondered why Kitchen Sink had 'sunk' into nothing but political rants.  I liked the old Kitchen Sink too, didn't recall it being so contentious, most of that being on the Free For All board.

The old forum was darn contentious at one time.  Honestly, I like almost everyone here even though I don't necessarily agree with their POV.  I probably have a couple of hundred books on my kindle that I have read over the last couple of years (various fiction categories).  Maybe, I will do a thread on books, but based on my experience starting threads where I tried to talk about tech stuff and a few other things it seems like nobody responds to anything other than controversial political issues.
