Surprise! Another impeachable/criminal offense

‘I just want to find 11,780 votes’: In extraordinary hour-long call, Trump pressures Georgia secretary of state to recalculate the vote in his favor

And it's ALL on tape!

According to a former Justice Department Inspector General:

Unless there are portions of the tape that somehow negate criminal intent, "I just want to find 11,780 votes" and his threats against Raffensperger and his counsel violate 52 U.S. Code § 20511.  His best defense would be insanity.

GASP! You mean Republicans finally have the proof of election fraud they have been so desperately trying to come up with? Now that they have the perpetrator on tape do you think they will be advocating for him to be prosecuted to the full extent the law allows?  Or do you think when it comes right down to it they don't care about election fraud at all and will give the perp a free pass?

I have just finished listening to the recorded phone call and the President did NOT try to get the secretary of state to recalculate the vote in his favor. What he did was ask repeatedly to have the issues looked into, which the President claims will prove the fraud and will show the TRUE count of the votes. Picture you keep twisting the truth and try to besmurch what the President said. You are a bald face liar - the tape recording proves it so.

"I just want to find 11,780 votes."

“So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break.”

"There’s nothing wrong with saying, you know, that you’ve recalculated.”

§20511. Criminal penalties

A person, including an election official, who in any election for Federal office-

(1) knowingly and willfully intimidates, threatens, or coerces, or attempts to intimidate, threaten, or coerce, any person for-

(A) registering to vote, or voting, or attempting to register or vote;

(B) urging or aiding any person to register to vote, to vote, or to attempt to register or vote; or

(C) exercising any right under this chapter; or

(2) knowingly and willfully deprives, defrauds, or attempts to deprive or defraud the residents of a State of a fair and impartially conducted election process, by-

(A) the procurement or submission of voter registration applications that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is held; or

(B) the procurement, casting, or tabulation of ballots that are known by the person to be materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent under the laws of the State in which the election is held,

shall be fined in accordance with title 18 (which fines shall be paid into the general fund of the Treasury, miscellaneous receipts (pursuant to section 3302 of title 31), notwithstanding any other law), or imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.

( Pub. L. 103–31, §12, May 20, 1993, 107 Stat. 88 .)

Nothing you posted says anything about ASKING for an exanimation and recount of the votes in an election to determine if the vote count is correct and if fraud has been committed. As usual, your post is a lie.

Actually, Trump used that very phrase--"recalculate."   If you look up "pathetic toady" in the dictionary, your picture must be there.  Is there anything that Trump would do that could make you, finally, feel shame?

"Can you get me off the hook, Tom? For old times' sake?"

Oh wait, that was Tessio in the Godfather.

Recalculate definition -What does recalculating mean? (rē-kăl′kyə-lāt′) tr.v. re·cal·cu·lat·ed, re·cal·cu·lat·ing, re·cal·cu·lates. To calculate again, especially in order to eliminate errors or to incorporate additional factors or data.

"Besmirch"---like Trump is a white-clad virgin. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!

Nothing we can say can make Trump look worse than his own actions have done.
