Survey: Name news organization(s) that you generally trust.

Sad, broken people who simply believe the news that they really, really want to believe should not attempt to answer this question.

For me, I trust the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, and (somewhat) the New York Times. No cable news or other TV, since I don't own one. I am of course referring to their news sections, not their opinion or commentary sections.

The WSJ is pretty drastically conservitard-biased, but their reportage of financial news is accurate. I've seen a LOT of unhinged right-wing crap from the Post in the last couple of years.

The Times leans left, but they give conservitard commentators plenty of voice.

As far as broadcast goes, CNN seems to be the "fair and balanced" that Fox Nooze claims to be (and what a joke THAT is!). But my ultimate go-to is NPR, and Oregon Public Broadcasting.

Ultimately, we should all use several news sources, including those we don't agree with. That's why I watch Fox Nooze--and sometimes, I need a good laugh.

I trust some news sources more than others, but I trust the raw data (things that I can see and hear, like unedited speeches and interviews by Trump, Harris, Vance and Walz) a lot more.  "CNN lied, it's all radical left media fabrication."  No, not when you can actually see and hear what he said.

Isn't it truly amazing how many people believe that Trump and Vance didn't say what they said, even when their interviews, speeches, etc. were extremely thoroughly covered by the media and everyone who has access to the internet can view them? The MAGA morons would rather clap their hands over their ears and say "la la la la la, I can't hear you" than see or hear an uncomfortable truth--that the guys they plan to vote for are stonefaced liars (and complete assholes).

I watch CNBC during the day.  I enjoy watching Neil Cavuto on Fox and Dan Abrams on NewsNation.   I find them both fair and correct guests who try to expound on things that have no basis in fact.  Also, I enjoy watching CSPAN when the house is in session.  It's so interesting how many bills are passed in a bipartisan basis without a recorded vote needed.
