Sympathy for Farmers?

Yep mainly the 50+ crowd. What I noticed is a lot of folks I went to High School

with didn't really get on the Internet until 8 - 10 years ago when there was a mass adoption of smart phones. Now they are on Facebook. Unfortunately, since they skipped the early days of the Internet, nobody bothered to tell them that not everything you read on the Internet is true and like David Miller they believe everything they read on FB is the truth. 

Makes me wonder just why rural communities are overall so fucking STOOPID, as shown not just by their MAGA-ness but also lack of college graduates and bizarre religious fervor. Is it simply that all the smart people run away screaming the first chance they get?
