This time he is imposing a 5% tariff on all Mexican imports starting on June 1st which will increase to 15% on July 1st and go up 5% a month thereafter until it hits 25%. This is to punish Mexico for non-Mexican citizens from crossing the U.S. border.

You can make an intelligent argument that the tariffs/tax-increase with China is a worhty sacrifice for Americans to make. But this one is not based upon trade policy - its based upon White nationalism.
