Talk about a non story. Some of this was reported all the way back to Novevmber when Trump was threatening a border shutdown.

Of course they've been working on signed agreement for months. Do you think this happens overnight? But why didn't Mexico just sign the agreement months ago? Why did they sign now? Maybe because they were dragging their feet. Maybe they thought they could just wait our President out. Maybe they weren't all in on everything we wanted. Until President Trump put the pressure on.
I imagine when and if Trump finally wins a hard fought Trade Agreement with China, Democrats will be peeing their pants saying....but...but China agreed to that months ago.
I got news for you. It's not an agreement until it's signed. And it's not worth much until they hold up thier end of the bargain. That's why Tarrifs are still on the table if Mexico doesn't follow through in 90 days.
Verbally committing and actually doing what you say you will do are two different things. Mexico lied for months. Now they have incentive to do what they said they will do - we will see. The tariff promise/threat is still available and will be implemented if Mexico once again drags their feet. By the way PJ, the Berlin wall is no longer standing, another Republican saw to that years ago. Your feeble attempt at sarcasm is noted, after all, it is all you have.

Let me tell you what really happened....Somebody on Trump's economic team (or perhaps one of the hundred Republicans in Congress) sat down with president dipshit and explained to him the economic impact of slapping tariffs on AMerica's biggest trade partner in the context of a slowing global economy and signs that our own economy is peaking out. So Trump did nothing but declared victory anyway - kinda like he did with healthcare. But thats all his base needs because they dont listen to the reported details from fake news sources....they listen to the birth certificate guy thats lied 10,000 times since taking office.
Free country so have at it.
LOL Mexico was willing to do the agreement for months. It was Trump that wouldn't sign it as he didn't think it was good enough. That was what the temper tantrum was all about. Then Trump's Republican pals in the Senate told him they were going to override any such tariff he imposed and Trump had to surrender. The next big thing we are going to learn is how much more money Mexico and the various Central American countries are going to get in aid so Mexico would simply agree to the same terms they had offered months earlier.

Trump pressures Mexico to do what our failed congress and no other president has done....put 6000 troops on Mexico's southern border to stem the Latin American Invasion and allow us to store the mostly fake amnesty seekers in Mexico....and Mark says Trump's a turd. We need more turds then. Americans should be praising Trump for this result. If Obama had done the exact same thing you know Mark and PJ both would be calling it a victory for American Workers.
