Tariff Results

No one is arguing that in this thread.

I'm making fun of the low-info MAGA voters that believed a purposely produced satire piece was legitimate news, the kind of people who believe Facebook and Facebook memes are reliable sources of news. Heck, some of them probably posted the meme on other forums to prove the tariffs are working when it has the copyright mark of a satire site. Memes are for stupid people to make them feel like they're smart.

Why are you changing the subject? If you want to talk about international trade, start a new thread.

I haven't been on Facebook since 2007.

Also, Memes make liberals cry.  Also, the left can't meme, so they reeeeee.

Im pretty sure exit polls showed high prices at the store was the main issue of voters who went for Trump.

His response - Hold my beer, I'll unilaterally and artifically raise your prices even more.

There's already alot of remorse from his own voters and we're not even at the 100 day mark yet

That's hilarious. If there's one thing that the MAGAs and Dear Leader do constantly, it's projection. They love to throw around "F your feelings", "Snowflake", etc., etc. Liberals aren't the ones living in fear of everybody with a different race/religion/gender/reading list/whatever. Keep clutching your pearls every time somebody different from you expresses an opinion.

Tarrif boy said on Sunday that the high tarrifs are coming back. Wait until

the price shock hits consumers.

How is it "unfair"? One party offers something for sale; the other does or does does not buy it; how is that unfair either way?

Trump's goal is not tariffs, but fair trade.  Liberals hate Trump so much that they refuse to recognize this.  We've asked foreign countries nicely for years to play fair and they have ignored our friendly requests.  Trump is using tarriffs as a negotiation tool.

Wrong his goal is a permanent national sales tax via tarrifs. There won't be much of a middle class when Trump gets done.

There is a difference between a national sales tax and tariffs.

A national sales tax would cover all goods and services in the economy.

As shown earlier imports are less than 25% of the GDP. Liberals are pretending that tariffs will cover 100% of goods.

Coming from Mark, who bought the bullshit Liberal media story that Biden is sharp as a tack.  How does Mark suggest we get fair trade after asking nicely for 50 years that other countries to play fair?
