Tariffs in Action

Venezuela has given Trump what he wants.  Mexico has also.  Yep on Panama.  Canada is close.  Hell, China has promised concessions but I hope Trump doesn't remove tarrifs on China until they compete promised performance.  Lie all you like boys, but Trump is winning.

Canadian Liquor stores now look like this.       Jack Daniels and Makers Mark used to be on that shelf.

Someday those brands will reappear on those shelves.   But the consumers will probably stick with the sign long after that.

All 'cause thin-skinned Trump had his feelings hurt by Trudeau once.

Liquor Stores in British Columbia have pulled alcohol from Republican states off the shelves in response to the Trump tariffs. : r/mildlyinteresting

This picture is all for show. Once Trulydum is gone, if not before, the shelves will be full again as Canada gets with the program and begins to trade fairly.

The Mexican president cleaned Trump's clock. Now Trump has to crack down on private gun sales.

  HaHaHaHaHaHa!

Yep, Trump has lost his negotiations with Mexico.  They are grabbing migrants in Mexico, and transporting them to southern Mexico.  This certainly is a big loser for Trump.  They are sending 10,000 troops to the border to control drugs and illegals from crossing into the US.  That's certainly a big loser for Trump.  Trump agreed not to send Mexican cartels guns...the very people moving drugs and illegals across the border.  Yep, that's a huge Trump loser.

Mark, what kind of drugs are you importing from Mexico?

I hope Trump starts to call for plenty of military strikes in Mexico on cartels.  We can kill them and make their weapons useless.

Mexico is a sovereign nation and that would be an act of war.

Idiot.

Apparently the threat of tariffs Do Work -- President Donald Trump will pause additional tariffs on Canadian imports for 30 days after a call with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who made some concessions to temporarily stave off the levies. Trump and Trudeau spoke via phone on Monday, hours before additional 25% tariffs were to take effect on Canadian goods coming into the United States. In a post on X, Trudeau said Canada will implement a $1.3 billion border plan and appoint a fentanyl czar. In addition, Canada will reinforce its border with new helicopters, technology, personnel and enhanced coordination with American authorities. He added that nearly 10,000 personnel are and will be working on border protection."We will list cartels as terrorists, ensure 24/7 eyes on the border, launch a Canada-U.S. Joint Strike Force to combat organized crime, fentanyl and money laundering," Trudeau wrote. "I have also signed a new intelligence directive on organized crime and fentanyl and we will be backing it with $200 million."

Only 43 pounds of fentanyl were seized at the Canadian border compared to 21,148 pounds at the Mexican border.
