Tarriffs coming?

You may be less impacted, but the majority of people regardless of party affiliation are not, inflation is real and a massive burden.  

What we want is the government to get out of the way and quit messing with every aspect of our lives and balance the budget.  - It's a good thing Kamala didn't win, she wanted communist style price controls and letting in the 3rd world as dependents on our wealth.  We've wasted billions housing, schooling, and feeding foreigners and it needs to stop, along with all these foolish wars.

And, I'm happy to say, the people have spoken.  They do not want your liberal and wasteful policies any more.

Countries that demonize and exclude "foreigners" gradually fall behind as the population ages and becomes less diverse. Japan is an example of a country in real trouble because of drastic exclusionary policies in the last several decades; there are now fewer than two working adults for every retiree.

Trump will be a major factor in Trumpflation, but ultimately, the sellers of goods and services determine the price of what they sell.

Nope. Trump is instituting a upward pull in prices, but his corporate masters can elect to absorb some or all of the cost of his tariffs if they want. And that may be what happens if Trumpflation and deportations create a massive recession.

What's the difference between tariffs on specific goods or the imports of specific countries and blanket tariffs on all imported goods, from anywhere? What are the effects in each case?

I'll give you a week to find that out.

The only tariffs in place are the ones Biden left in place.  Trump hasn't done shinola yet so you'll just have to keep wetting your panties in anticipation.
