Tax cuts and job losses at Big Tech

The Big Beautiful Bill massively cut taxes for corporations.     The premise was companies would use that extra money to create jobs and hire more people in America.    But many companies are doing the oppositte.   

If corporate America is going to kill jobs with the investments they are getting in part from tax cuts then should we keep their taxes low?    Seems like a broken promise.

Amazon 30k workers

Meta (Facebook) 20k workers

Oracle 20k workers

Google 12k workers

Microsoft 8k workers

Salesforce.com  4k workers

We saw that almost immediately in 2019, when the Turd tax breaks for big corporations came into effect and instead of increasing jobs, they used the savings for stock buybacks. Meanwhile, the Trump deficit grew like a weed.

To be fair, it was the Evil Orange Fuckface, not they, who promised job creation. They just let him barf out his lies while they sat in their boardrooms, snickering, and said, "Yeah, right." That underscores who really runs this country. Trump and MAGA are their puppets.

We of course need to return to pre-Pig corporate taxation levels to reduce the Pig deficit. But that'll never happen as long as our government is nothing but corporate America's willing fucktoy.

Yep, they are using the tax cuts to replace their employees with AI and this is only the beginning. If the trend continues, we will be looking a 20% unemployment rate in 5 years and no way to create new jobs.

What people don't get is the tech bros know this and that is why they support Trump's deportation polices. They know Americans will need those jobs picking vegetables, cleaning their mansions and pounding nails into roofs. The tech bros really do see us as their serifs.

The sad part is that the Great AI Replacement can actually be a good thing, IF we use it as a way to free up people from unskilled, monotonous tasks. Then we can use that labor to accomplish something worthwhile.

How many nationwide tasks that are needed but haven't been addressed could be accomplished with a workforce of oh, 20 million?

Affordable housing for all?

Nationwide high speed rail?

Medical care that would raise our life expectancy to that of civilized nations?

Sustainable energy that would once and for all reduce our dependence on Big Oil and insulate us from  the seismic shocks that happen every time the Middle East farts?

Castration/sterilization of all MAGAs?

$5 Big Mac Meals?

Cubs win the World Series?

I mean, the nationwide freak over AI kind of reminds me of all the horse and buggy operators who were put out of business by Henry Ford et al. Jobs, and entire job categories, do obsolesce. Conservatives hate that, because they hate change. But AI can perform mindless tasks that are beneath most humans. Think of all the tasks that were performed exclusively by humans 100 years ago but are now done by machines! How are intellectual tasks performed by AI any different?

I for one would rather ask a simple question of an AI bot than spend twenty minutes on hold to speak to a customer service representative. And I'm sure that customer service representative would rather be found almost anything else!

      As with all things, America and Americans will adjust as they have done in the past. This constant stream of gloom and doom, with the blame always directed to the present administration, is what DemocRATs want Americans to focus on. Meanwhile, the DemocRATs have no soultions to offer except mass immigration, massive spending, massive homelessness, free drugs, cities overrun with crime, massive DemocRAT fraud ( such as in Minnesota, and California), spending cuts for the military, sickening allocations for asinine amounts of money given to organizations and countries, as was exposed by DOGE. The list of their corruption and crimes is endless. Piss and Moan  - this is ALL that the DemocRATs do. Of course, you complainers always forget that the majority of the issues  America is currently facing started during the brain dead Biden reign of terror that ensued during his fraudlent tenure in the White House in 2020- 2024. Amazingly, during that time frame none of you complained about what was happening then. If you really want to know whose at fault, look no further that the person you see in the mirror who voted for the worst administration ever in America - the 2020-2024 DemocRAT party.
