The door we have to do something about is the one that opens and lets Ted Cruz out every day.
NYC has been using the 1 door policy for years. The larger schools have 2 doors. They all have security guards. All the high schools & many of the middle schools have metal detectors. The other doors are exit only. Many of the suburban schools have the same policy.
NYC has confiscated 5,400 weapons this school year, including more than a dozen guns.
Not sure why the toad & the Tk see this is a challenge to carry out.
Stupid Tommie-poo, the point is not how difficult or easy it might be to implement such a policy--it's whether such a policy would work. Work, as in prevent school shootings. And anyone with a brain knows that it won't. The bad guy with the automatic weapon walks up to the one door and shoots the one security guard--or two--who are armed with pistols and taken by surprise. The bad guy has been slowed down for maybe ten seconds.

The conservative solution to school shootings is to turn each elementary school into a prison-like fortress. That's bizarre not to mention it's downright cruel to inflict 13 years of that onto every kid in America.
Anyway, once conservatives see the price tag for how much something like this costs, we all know they will drop the idea altogether.

Then we have the problem of people who drive cars into a parade injuring hundreds. People being beat to death while sitting on a bench, being assaulted while walking down the street, being murdered on the subway, while sitting on the train, being pushed in front of moving trains or someone setting off bombs on the subway.
Banning guns doesn't solve the problem of the deranged as they will always find a way to harm people. The issue isn't guns, but identifying and treating the deranged people that do these things
