Here's what I find amusing.....
1/2 of all car sales in China right now are EV's. By law that will be 100% by 2035.
Their auto market is nearly twice the size of ours...so 1/2 of their current sales is the same as 100% of ours.
Our resident MAGA automobile / climate experts have told us there arent enough raw materials to support the US auto fleet going to 100% EV. Not enough lithium. Not enough nickel. That was their conclusion after the countless seconds of research they did on the topic in between posts about Joe Biden's age.
China proved them wrong. And it also shows that Trump's obsession with drilling more oil on public lands and sensitive ecological areas is not only irresponsible but also short sighted. We're moving into an era that looks liike the Jetsons but we are being governed by the Flintstones.

And don't forget Trump's stupidity in the matter. The rest of the world is moving towards electric cars. Trump pushing for lesss electric and more gas cars undermines getting Europe/Asia to buy American made cars. If you want to export manufactured goods, you have to mKe goods that people in those markets want to buy.

You morons overlook the elephant in the room - electric cars require electricity in order to function - here is the rub - just how will the electricity needed be made? Solar panels, wind and wishing will not provide enough electricity - so how are you geniuses going to produce the electricity? --- Currently China, for example, is using COAL, here is how they are producing their electricity -- China has the most coal-fired power plants in the world, with 1,161 operational plants as of July 2024. This represents more than four times the number of coal power plants in India, the second-highest country, and accounts for over 50% of global coal electricity generation. While China has been adding new coal plants, its overall coal use and capacity factor may be decreasing due to a shift towards renewable energy and slower electricity demand from industry -- Where will the US and other nations get their energy to produce electricity? OK, morons- answer the question.
Millerscum thinks that unlike the rest of the world, we're too dumb to generate electricity. The reality is that we have immense potential for wind and solar generation--lots and lots of open land AND the weather patterns that make it optimal.
I think the real sentiment in Europe is anti-Elon and anti-US. It's not so much anti-Tesla.

HaHaHaHaHaHaHa- The largest "open space" is the space between you ears - You have posted some stupid things before, but this one is at the top....

Yeah, the Great Plains are something I just made up. God, you're a fool.
I am still waiting for PJ and Mark to reply to this post -- You morons overlook the elephant in the room - electric cars require electricity in order to function - here is the rub - just how will the electricity needed be made? If you want to engage in a discussion, you might try asking in a civil manner. Calling people "morons," which you did twice in your shit-post, is more likely to drive them away.
I'm not even talking about your general repulsive manner and assholery. I'm simply saying, don't expect people to engage with you when you insult them.
Of course, common decency might enter into it as well, but for you, that ship sailed long ago.
Now, make some kind of childish, snide remark about me, as if that excuses your behavior.
