That didn't take long--Elon jumps ship

You were one of the best jerkers ever, so you have that going for you, which is nice.

Yes, but Doge is not the solution because of the inefficient, shotgun approach they used.

I'd agree that a more tempered, targeted and less forced - chaos process would have been preferable. More savings and less clusterforkiness might've been attained had that occurred. Yet, some cuts were accomplished.

That's like a pest exterminator burning a house to the ground and saying, "Well, I'm sure we killed some bugs."

Speaking of narcissistic pests...

Elon? I agree.

Now Elon is going full anti-MAGA

I think he took a look at his California sales and realized he really messed up by insulting his primary customer base.      I think its too late, Elon.

"I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination," Musk wrote of the House-passed bill. "Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it."

Musk followed up with another post claiming the bill "will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion (!!!) and burden America citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt." He later posted that "Congress is making America bankrupt."

Looks like Elon is trying to whip up support to kill Trump's Big Beautiful Bill. 😂

He must be really mad the White House leaked information about his drug habit and Trump making that comment about DOGE being all bullshit. DOGE is such a failure Trump is running away from it and Elon.

Cue Everybody Hurts in honor of Elon.

Musk's claims about this bill likely compounding / adding to the  debt are probably right. I guess we'll see just how courageous the Senate is (or isn't) regarding this reconciliation. He sounds plain pissed off in all these related comments.

That's what you voted for so why are you complaining?  Trump spent like a drunken sailor his first term what made you think this time around it was going to be different?
