The New York Times requested 5 novelists submit fictitious short-stories addressing the Mueller Investigation.

They did.  Ref: The New York Times

None of them suggest any affection for President Trump.  One of the pieces ends with assassination of the President, . . . with assistance from a Secret Service Agent.

DonDiego does not recall any Presidential assassination stories when President Obama was in office; perhaps his memory is failing.

That's Entertainment !

I remember lots of great fiction from the Obama era authored by "journalists"....

- He had a death panel in his healthcare plan

- He was born in Africa

- He was protecting the terrorists in the Boston Marathon bombing

- He fiddled around with the unemployment numbers

- he's sending the national guard down to Texas to institute a police state

- He's turning General Motors and the banks into  state run agencies

- And my favorite - His economic stimulus plan didn't create one job!   Not one!

The great thing about Obama was that even in the midst of these stories he did not declare war on the first ammendment by labeling the free press as the enemy of the people.

"The great thing about Obama was that even in the midst of these stories he did not declare war on the first ammendment by labeling the free press as the enemy of the people."

Why would he?  They kissed his butt for 8 years!  Although he did go after James Rosen - a conservative reporter

Why would any president attack the Bill of Rights such?   And why would anyone defend him doing so?

Pointing out biased and often untrue media "reporting" is not attacking the bill of rights. Obama took many actions that were anti-media, like what was done to Rosen and the Associated Press. Why would he attack the bill of rights?
