I don't care for Linguine in clam sauce.   Now, Fettuccine Alfredo is really good.  Even better with Chicken and broccoli.   You should try it. 

Reminds me of that scene in The Odd Couple.  Oscar (Walter Matthau) refers to the Linguine on Felix's (Jack Lemmon) dinner plate as Spaghetti.  Felix corrects Oscar derisively, that the dish is "not Spaghetti, it's Linguine."  Oscar lifts the plate, slams it, pasta and all, against the dining room wall, then says "Now it's garbage!"   

Great movie.  Comedic timing at its best.
