Uhhh...wrong--o. Other Western are "industrialzed nations have made it far more difficult to get a gun and guess what? They have far, far few shootings than us.
What you're missing is that most gun homicides aren't committed by "bad guys and sickos," but rather, ordinary people who get into arguments that escalate. Fistfights are now gunfights. And that's because anybody can get a gun--ridiculously easily.
But you should rejoice! Your MAGA martyr hero got exactly what he wanted! He just lost the who-gets-sacrificed lottery, is all.
States with heavy gun restrictions have fewer gun deaths than states with light gun restrictions.
it doesn't solve the problem entirley but it helps. Just like restraining orders don't stop every psycho ex boyfriend from beating on his woman. But it makes those occurrences fewer and farther between.
its a strawman argument to demand a solution cure 100% of any problem.
