I was born in 1959, and it was fantastic.

Republicans have added a new group of people to alienate in future elections:   Millenials and Gen Z.  

They sure love to talk trash in broad brush.  I suspect you'll see as many young people at your next Republican rally as you do blacks.     Good luck with that demographic strategy going forward.

The old fogies take pride in growing up in an age without therpay pets, organic foods, and participation trophies.    They're so tough !

   There was no "trash" in the video - just people growing up and living a life where one took responsibility for their actions, earned their trophys, could leave their homes and cars unlocked . We did not have to depend on medications for our health because we did not sit around all day playing games depicting murder while listening to filthy of rap music- which has created generations of obese, foul mouthed, lazy sloths.  If one had an accident by result of their own actions, we did not look for someone to sue or blame.  There were no car jackings, drug dealers on every corner, homeless shitting and pissing openly on the streets. People earned their money by working and did not get free government money because they were too lazy to work. Yeah we will "see you in November" and you will spend the next 4 years bitching and moaning. You assholes are too stupid to know just how good you have it. Quit stomping on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights - they are the foundation upon which our great nation has been built. 

I also hid under my school desk, in practice for nukes.

David, I was the tough dad who refused to let my boys play video games at home.  They would complain, and say "There's nothing to do!"  I would tell them to ride their bikes, skateboard, play basketball, play frisbee, play baseball or softball, play football, or play hide and go seek.  The Jones boys also found themselves in the same predicament, so my two boys and the Jones boys hung regularly.  Eventually they found more nearby friends that also needed to be outside, and they did all of the things that I mention above.  Both of my boys today tell me how happy they are that I kicked them out of the house and made them play.  They now complain about how many of their friends, at 27-30 years of age, still play video games 40 hours a week.

I was a horrible dad, and it worked!  My boys are active, well proportioned, healthy, and employed.
