Criteria for holding
1- does the play create an unfair advantage
2- does the potential foul occur at the point of attack
3- is there a pull or tug that usually shows the shirt being pulled
4- does the pull/tug cause the offended player to spin or go to the ground
5- does the offended player attempt to break thru the hold
6- remember we have only 2 people watching up to 10 very large/fast/strong people
7- sports are played by imperfect people, officiated by imperfect people making a lot of mistakes
